The Bearded Bear does not sell, provide, or profit from alcohol. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased separately by the client from a licensed retailer. We'll make the process easy by providing a customized alcohol shopping list based on your final guest count and beverage selections. For eligible events, we can also coordinate pickup and delivery of your pre-purchased alcohol.

Absolutely! We love helping clients create a personalized beverage menu. Our services include up to two custom signature cocktails, and we're happy to help you create a cocktail menu based on your preferences, event style, color palette, season, or favorite flavors. Each signature cocktail can also be prepared as a non-alcoholic mocktail, so every guest can enjoy a thoughtfully crafted beverage.

We do not provide or coordinate glassware rentals as part of our services. You're welcome to provide your own glassware if you prefer that look for your event. To comply with applicable Health Department regulations, we are unable to wash, sanitize, or reuse glassware during service. If additional clean glasses are needed, we recommend renting an adequate quantity for your event. Clients who choose our Essential Supplies option receive elegant Tossware, providing the appearance of glass with the convenience of single-use service.

Bar service can be scheduled for up to six (6) hours, depending on your event timeline and service needs. If your celebration requires service beyond six hours, extended service may be available for an additional fee, subject to staffing and availability.

Yes. Our bartenders are trained in responsible alcohol service and reserve the right to request valid government-issued identification from any guest. We comply with all applicable Montana alcohol laws and will not serve anyone who is underage or appears visibly intoxicated.

No. For the safety of your guests and to comply with our insurance requirements and responsible alcohol service practices, all alcoholic beverages consumed during our contracted service hours, including alcohol brought by guests, must be served by a The Bearded Bear bartender.

Yes. The Bearded Bear maintains both general liability and liquor liability insurance for every event we service. Certificates of insurance are available upon request and can be provided directly to your venue as needed, giving you added confidence that your bar service is backed by the appropriate coverage.

All of our mobile bar and bartending services include 30 miles of travel from Kalispell. For events beyond that range, a travel fee may apply to cover additional mileage and travel time. We proudly serve clients throughout Montana and love bringing The Bearded Bear experience to celebrations across the state.
